I was going for the perfect shot, one that would never pass me by again.
I push down on the smooth black button I've become so familiar with all these years. And like it's done for me every time, wait to hear my shutter click away.
Something it never failed to do for me....
Until that moment.
My camera, after 3 years of hard use. 20 Weddings, a 365 project, and almost 100 portrait sessions. Gave it's last breath. My little Rebel, who taught me so much, was ready for a retirement. And I had ignored the signs for too long until it had to just shut down for me to get the picture.
